Are your finished products tested on animals?
No. We do not conduct any animal testing on finished goods internally, nor do we conduct any animal testing on finished products either via our suppliers or via a third-party facility.
Are your raw ingredients tested on animals?
No. We do not conduct animal testing on our raw ingredients.
Do your suppliers use ingredients that were tested on animals?
No, we do not conduct any animal testing on ingredients internally, nor do we conduct any animal testing on ingredients either via our suppliers or via a third-party facility.
Do you obtain assurance from your suppliers that these ingredients are not tested (or how do you verify?)
We ask all vendors to provide vegan and cruelty-free statements to ensure animal testing is not done on any finished products or ingredients.
Do you hire any third-party companies to test on animals on your behalf?
No, we do not hire any third-party companies to test on animals on our behalf.
Are your products sold in markets where post-market animal testing may still occur (Ex: Mainland China)?
MakeupbyMario.com ships worldwide, however we do not have local retail locations in markets where post-market animal testing may/does occur. Therefore, post-market animal testing does not occur on Makeup by Mario products.
Is your company owned by another company? If so, can you please specify who?
No. Makeup By Mario is an independently-owned brand.
Do you have leaping bunny, CCF or PETA certifications?
We are a Leaping Bunny-certified brand. Additionally, all of our vegan products are PETA-certified.
Do you use animal hair in your brushes?
All Makeup by Mario brushes are cruelty-free—made with a custom blend of synthetic and vegan fibers and 100% FSC-certified Birch Wood handles.
Do you carry any vegan products?
Yes. The majority of our products are vegan. The few that are not vegan are listed below:

Can I use the welcome discount code more than once? Why are all products not included?
One account per person is eligible for the MAKEUP BY MARIO 10% discount. The one time use code will be emailed upon account creation. Exclusions apply including new product launches. Cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts. Failure to comply with one account per customer will result in account termination.
