how to
MASTER MATTES™ EYESHADOW PALETTE
- This formula is designed to be very buildable, in order to achieve the cleanest eyeshadow application with minimal fallout.
- Depending on your skin tone, the lighter shades work well as an allover base, highlighter on the brow bone, or in the inner corners of the eye.
- Contour and define the crease with the medium and deeper shades.
- Fill in or darken the brows with the shade of your choice.
- Mario’s favorite brushes to use with this palette are EF 2, E 3, and E 5
- Matte 12 contains carbon black pigment, which is 5x more intense than a traditional black shadow. Use it to create a dramatic, blacker than black effect.
- You can use any of the shades alone, or mix and blend them with other formulas.
- When you don’t want to spend a lot of time, just swipe a shadow across the lid with your fingertips for a quick, allover, beautiful intensity.
- For more detailed application, use the E 4 brush to pat and build the shadow. Wet the brush for extra intensity.
- Lighter shades like Metallic 1, Metallic 5, Metallic 7, and Metallic 8 also work as a face and body highlighter.
- For an amplified metallic finish, you can pat Master Secret Glow™ below or over your shadow with the fingers
- You can use this dry, over the Master Eye Prep & Set™ primer as a base for superior grip and buildability, applied with the fingers or E 4 brush.
- Use it wet with a dampened E 4 or E 5 brush.
- Enhance the effects with the Master Metal™Manipulator™. Use the spatula to scrape a bit of the powder into the removable mixing well, add a bit of Manipulator™, mix with the spatula or E 4 brush, and watch as the shadow transforms into pearlized liquid foil. You can also line the eyes for a dramatic and editorial effect.
